Living With Predators is a 3 episode series
that documents the stories of the real heroes of Big Cat
conservation - local communities. Each episode focuses on the
stories of the ex-poachers, tribal communities and forest
guards that make the conservation of Asiatic Lions, Leopards
and Tigers possible in India. This series aims to inspire an
understanding that the communities that live alongside Big
Cats can be their biggest conservation advocates, and with
them onboard - we can protect Big Cats for our future
generations.
The series airs on Nat Geo Wild

Peng Yu Sai is a Green Oscar-nominated investigative documentary that dives into the illegal trade in Manta Rays from India’s oceans. Through this documentary, wildlife presenter Malaika Vaz follows the illegal trade pipeline from fishing vessels in the Indian Ocean, to the Indo-Myanmar border and finally undercover in the wildlife trafficking hubs of Hong Kong and Guangzhou, in China. Along the way - she meets with fishermen, middle men, traffickers, armed forces personnel and wildlife trade kingpins, as she tries to understand what it will take to protect these magnificent ocean giants.
Unseen Goa is a short brand collaboration that explores the hidden wonders of the tropical rainforests of Goa. Follow the journey of National Geographic Explorer Malaika Vaz as she discovers the stunning biodiversity of the region and finds out why this habitat is so critical for the well being of all those who call it home.
Earthrise is Al Jazeera’s award-winning environmental solutions show, exploring the most significant threats to our planet, and the potential solutions to tackle those threats head-on. This episode, Wild Recovery, looks at protecting wildlife and preventing pandemics through the stories of two endangered mammals (bats and pangolins) which have been investigated for links to COVID-19.

Build A Waste Free World is an invitation to
innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs around the world to
take on the challenge of creating a waste free world, and
compete for the coveted Earthshot Prize - the most prestigious
global environment prize in history.
A brand new initiative by The Royal Foundation and HRH Prince
William, the Earthshot Prize aims to incentivise change and
help repair our planet over the next ten years. This video
represents the ‘Build a Waste-free world Earthshot’ and is
geared towards highlighting the solutions our planet needs in
order to eliminate single-use products and packaging and to
build cities that revolutionise their waste management

She has been directing and hosting films and television series for media networks like National Geographic, Al Jazeera, Discovery Channel, BBC and Animal Planet. Her work has taken her across some of the most hostile terrain on all seven continents - including hiking across glaciers in the Antarctic, filming undercover with criminal syndicates and diving with tiger sharks. Malaika brings her expertise in writing, direction and storytelling to Untamed Planet's productions, and she loves working with the team to push boundaries and create compelling, impact-oriented documentary films. She was named an Earthshot Prize Advocate in 2020 and helps to promote the work of the world’s largest environmental prize aimed at incentivising conservation action on a global scale.
Nitye is a natural history & factual cinematographer,
filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer. Nitye brings his
visual aesthetic and technical expertise to the
documentaries he films and produces - specialising in
capturing immersive animal behaviour, drone operation and
time-lapse photography. Nitye’s work has taken him across
the world filming in challenging and often hostile
circumstances, working with charismatic species such as king
cobras, tiger sharks, black bears, rhinos, elephants,
asiatic lions, tigers and more.
Driven by his love for the outdoors and his passion for
innovations in conservation and sustainable technologies,
Nitye seeks to create films that inspire. His films have
found global audiences on media networks including National
Geographic, BBC, Netflix, Warner Bros and Al Jazeera.
Nitye filmed and produced ‘Peng Yu Sai’ which was nominated
for the Green Oscars and won a Special Jury Award at the
prestigious Jackson Wild Media awards. He was recently part
of the crew on the Academy Award nominated short film
Elephant Whisperers, and worked as an AD on the Academy
Award nominated independent film ‘Court’.
Amoli Birewar is a documentary filmmaker and researcher. Amoli brings her passion for the natural world and her insightful storytelling to the productions she works on at Untamed Planet.
Akash Bando is a skilled cameraman and editor. Akash is passionate about exploring human stories and the natural world in equal measure.
Rusha is a cinematographer with an eye for evocative visuals. Rusha specialises in capturing immersive visuals and isn't afraid to follow the action - wherever it may lead.
Aalok Padhye is an editor and composer with over a decade of experience working in the film & media industry. He is a founding partner at Canopy Media, a full-service post-production house he runs with Tanmay Bhattacherjee. Aalok specialises in editing long-format documentary films, television series and shorts. Aalok recently won the Best Editing award at the Tiete International Film Festival for his work on the feature documentary 'Beluga’ and in the last year, along with the Untamed Planet team, he has worked on films for global broadcasters and mission-driven brands. Aalok uses his passion and understanding of audio-visual storytelling to create magic on the editing table, and is the editing mind behind some of Untamed Planet's best narrative work.
Pradeep Hegde is natural history filmmaker and wildlife cameraman with a passion for telling stories about the wild. He focuses on creating visually stunning narratives that help audiences connect with the natural world. Pradeep has worked as a primary cameraman for several global broadcast films and series in the natural history and conservation space. His recent work has been broadcast on Animal planet, Discovery Channel and National Geographic amongst others. He recently shot and co-directed an award winning conservation film - The Last Hop(e), about the threats faced by newly discovered frogs. Driven by a passion for creating a tangible impact, Pradeep has worked in close collaboration with various conservation organisations including WildCAT - C, ARRS, WCS and Green Hub.
